Standard Poodles are the bomb…truly.
People generally know more about the poodles than the sheepadoodles. But what I wasn’t as aware is that the Standard Poodle vs. what I have been around in the smaller poodles, is not real barky and is quite calm and of course very smart. Poodles love their families and want to be with them as much as possible. They are of course hypoallergenic and low/no shedding, which makes them great for families with allergies.
When we made the decision to breed our dogs, we investigated coloring, temperament, and body structure in picking our puppies. For me, temperament is critical, and all of our poodles have a great temperment, with their own personality. Poodles need to be brushed at least 3 times a week (more if you keep their coat longer) and need to be groomed regularly (depending on the length and style you keep the coat).
